Two cone-shaped stainless steel rollers rotate in high-quality ball bearings, thus making cranking easy- it works almost by itself. Immediately after securing the FlicFloc to the table with the supplied clamp, you can start making flakes. A matching glass to catch the flakes is included. The Komo FlicFloc is a hand-cranked flaker for flaking all kinds of grains (except corn), oilseeds and herbs. Make your own rolled oats! Using innovative tapered rollers, this mill makes it very easy to produce your own flakes. The fineness need not be specially adjusted because FlicFloc technology ensures optimal flakes. Highest craftsmanship is reflected in the attractive housing of solid beech, where the wood used is naturally from certified native forests. The surfaces of the FlicFloc Flaker are treated only with organic vegetable oil. How does the FlicFloc work?
  • Attach the flaker on a flat surface (kitchen countertopor window sill)
  • Use well-cleaned organic grains.
  • If you would like oat flakes, we recommend usingso-called naked oats, to avoid possible bitterness.
  • Fresh oat flakes should be eaten as quickly as possible, because due to their high fat content, oat flakes can become bitter after soaking.
  • Other grains such as wheat, rye, barley, etc. shouldbe soaked for about 4 hours after being crushed in the FlicFloc. This way, the minerals are more readily available for the human metabolism.
  • What can you crush in the FlicFloc? Oats, rye, wheat, buckwheat, millet, barley, spelt, rice, sesame, linseed and poppy, but also spices such ascaraway and fennel can be processed. Even peppercan be wonderfully crushed. How to clean the flaker:The rollers can be easily cleaned with a cloth. Just pressit against the rollers while you turn the crank. You canalso rotate the crank backwards. Delivery includes a clamp for easy mounting and a matching glass. Komo stands for:
